We provided Elektron Berlin GmbH with a custom software to control cable production.
The software works directly with the ERP system, eliminating the need for manual order entry of cutting data and print texts at the machines.
A crucial issue was the printing of the cable, which was applied customer-specific by ink jet. Until the introduction of iret’s software, the operator had to manually enter text with up to 200 letters into the machine’s terminal.
Gerodur MPM Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH & Co. KG is a manufacturer of plastic pipes whose pipes are printed and cut to customer’s specifications. The management of said texts via the printer’s terminal was prone to errors. iret developed a control system for Gerodur’s printers and trimming units.
Feintechnik R. Rittmeyer GmbH is a manufacturer of cable processing machines and specializes in precision mechanics, special machine engineering, and sonotrode construction.
The company Ulmer GmbH uses our IPCS software. We also develop software for Ulmer's customer-specific systems, which can be used, for example, to control a special system for cutting hoses to length. The software manages all production data and transfers it to the individual components of the system:
- Cutting machine
- several Ink jet printer
- several hot stamping printers
- label printers
- Lump detectors
- Delivery trays
The software records all malfunctions as well as good and rejected parts during production. With the help of these statistics, manufacturing problems can be selectively diagnosed and eliminated.
Helukabel are using our software AJWin in the process of cable extrusion for the subsequent printing of the cable sheath. In use are printers by various manufacturers. Our CIJ Monitor software is now also used by Helukabel.
We created a custom application to manage and manufacture cables for LEONI Kabelsysteme GmbH.
The cable management comprises the following functions:
- Compilation of component groups with several thousand cables
- Management of production jobs with connection to PDA
- Complete versioning of all component groups
- Connection of several production sites in Germany and abroad
- User management
